A Family Affair

This is a family of birds that seemed to be guarding the bird in nest.  I could not tell if there was a baby in the nest, I like to think so though.

Peek A Boo Ballerina

I sketched this toddler ballerina peek-a-booing in 2003 and I was re-inspired to paint her.  Look closely for her face peeking thru her legs.

Tree of Life

This is my family's Tree of Life.  If you look closely, there are silhouettes of each member of my family.  The tree limbs are individually painted in traditional japanese designs.  Painting with patterns has been my passion for almost 2 years now.  I still want to change a few things, but I think this is far enough along to post.

My Daily Painting

I am very excited to have made this commitment to paint everyday.  I have already felt some of it's challenges, but I have experienced some of it's rewards.  As I am very busy, I have promised myself a finished painting a week, I look forward to all who are sharing in my enthusiasm for art!
